Velum

Velum

Warm invitation to the solo exhibition 'Velum' by Elektra Tzamouranis!

The exhibition starts with the Master Student Presentation on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 11 AM and is open from February 5–7, 2026, from 2–6 PM each day.

On Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 4 PM, an artist talk will take place with art historian Anna Goltz.

"Like a thin veil, layers of color lie over and next to each other. They connect and separate at the same time, allowing forms to emerge, blur, reappear, and thus make movement and change tangible.
In the large-format works of the "Velum" series, Elektra Tzamouranis follows an intuitively direct, gestural approach on a formal level, thus venturing another step further towards non-representational art. The recession of the figure stands in an exciting competition with the immanently corporeal/natural, which remains present as an open resonant space in the paintings." — Anna-Lena Goltz
