The painting is so large that it spans two canvases. Light blue, gray-yellow, and a touch of dark red move across the surface. And again and again, stencil-like, clear shapes, small circles and ellipses in white. Looking up into the air – falling leaves, the noise of the city, a bird in flight. Looking down at the pond – fallen leaves, flotsam and jetsam, a water lily. // The painting is violet and deep. A square-meshed, coarse net lies over the background. The rods taper to a point at their ends and thus fit together perfectly. Net structure: the gaze is guided by a railing and finds support. In some places it covers strongly, in others the background shimmers through, in still others the net sinks completely into the background like a swamp. And draws the gaze with it. // The painting is small. Blue and yellow gestures run from bottom to top, from top to bottom. Strange, the quality of luminescence from within. Light falls through a stained-glass window. // Bright diamond ornaments stretch across the image, connecting via lines to form an airy grid. A clear grid seems to underlie everything. Below, a rolling, undulating violet. Below, above, in places, flooding the grid. The grid floats straight and upright in boundless space. // The image is a dense dark green. The image is a coniferous forest. A fine, austere net pierces the color, opening up a spatial depth toward the center. Looking at the image, one enters a corridor.
