Jorge Sánchez Di Bello

Herrenlos, die Invasion

The exhibition "ABANDONED, THE INVASION" (Herrenlos, die Invasion) showcases a previously unreleased installation. The exhibition narrates the story of the largest hippopotamus population outside the African continent in Colombia and visually captures what began more than 40 years ago at the infamous Hacienda Nápoles, once owned by the notorious drug lord and terrorist Pablo Escobar, the former head of the Medellín Cartel.
